    Description

    World War II:  Destruction of Heinkel III by Flt. Lieut. Crerar, Nov. 14, 1943, dramatic sequence of 15 original photos, taken by Crerar.  From the first sighting of the Heinkel to its final shooting down by the British Pilot.  Each photo measures approximately 5" x 5", numbered in sequence.  The event took place over open water, with land in the distance, probably the Mediterranean.
