This is a frosted bulb and specs say it's a bi-pin halogen lamp that produces approximately 4800 lumens, has an average life of 2000 hours and a 3000k color temperature.
I have this as a leftover modeling lamp for Norman 2000ws studio strobe heads, but I'm sure that there are many other applications for this type bulb.
