    Description

    For sale is this Victorian era sewing box. This box is made from walnut and has fretwork or lattice cut outs on all 4 sides. There is a lock but no key. The lid is hand painted with flowers. The box is lined inside with silk. The box is in good condition, there is a small piece of fretwork missing from the front just under the lid, this is barely noticeable as the design still looks fine. The silk lining is in rough shape with tears and stains. It measures 9" wide x 5 1/4" x 5 1/4".
