This is a
NOS Original SET
of
1964 Chevrolet Impala or Impala SS Convertible PROMOTIONAL CUFF LINKS and TIE BAR
which Chevy executives would wear and give away as special gifts. The jewelry was made for Chevrolet by the famous Balfour Company. These were the only type of Chevrolet Full-size jewelry in '64 so they apply to all Impala, SS, Bel Air, Biscayne & Station Wagon models.
Each cuff link and the Tie Bar have a 1" wide cast metal half of a scale model Impala convertible on them which is heavily gold-tone chrome plated. The tiny details include the steering wheel, door handles, wheel covers, body side moldings, door/hood/trunk opening lines, head & tail lamps, bumpers and more. The cuff link cars appear to float inside the oval surrounding them.
The original Balfour clear and blue plastic boxes with foam inserts are included.
Condition
of the set and its boxes is NOS Mint.
