SENIOR SERVICE SCOUT
WWII 1941,
CIVIL DEFENSE
This TINY RED TREFOIL PIN was issued by the War Service Bureau to encourage Girl Scouts to help in the War Effort during World War II
.  Finding these pins without any chips in the paint is very rare.  This one is in Excellent Condition but there is a slight manufacturing "smudge" on the left in the picture.   It has a J-hook in good working condition.  These were awarded only from 1941- 1945 making them difficult to find now -
80 years later
.  This measures approximately 1/2 inch X 1/2 inch, and has an R hallmark, probably for Robbins Company.  The gold trim and the backs show some age, and I have not tried to clean it.  I have several, but I'll have to take a new picture after each sale.   Also, for less money, you can order a pin with varying degrees of missing paint.  Let me know if you are interested.
